Fundraising Success

Sunday 23rd November our ASV members turned out in great numbers and community spirit as we raised an incredible £300 towards this years ASV Christmas Gift Appeal.

The route was just short of 5km starting from Astley Sports Village for a steady jog down to the bottom steps of Dukinfield Park. A walk through the park to the top park gates before a steady run back to Astley Sports Village where tea, coffee and pastry's were waiting for everyone upon their return.

A new fundraising idea for this years appeal and it certainly paid off with how much we raised but also the fantastic social element this Fundraising Fun Run delivered. So many positive conversations and interactions between staff and members with lots of laughs both during the run and also at the end where we put on a range of refreshments for everyone involved.

Donations are running till Thursday 11th December and this can be dropping toys off at ASV reception from board games, to remote control cars, to dolls, to action figures, to make up and jewellery sets right through to jigsaws and colouring books.
